The slipcase used here is similar to the U.K. Collins 2002 Modern Classics Edition case but is slightly smaller (although it is the same size as the Collins 2003 ‘Ted Smart’ Edition case). The differences are easily discerned by checking the base. This set includes:

The Fellowship of the Ring – 1st Printing
The Two Towers – 1st Printing
The Return of the King – 1st Printing
Copies of a variety of printings were issued in this slipcase.
